Abstract

The activity of development economists would not make the least sense if they were not convinced that their theoretical tools could be translated into concrete
policy designs and recommendations, aimed at improving the standard of living of a country's population. Currently, there are sufficient reasons to believe that,
using the instruments of information theory and game theory, it is possible to achieve designs for mechanisms, organizations and structures that allow defining
the appropriate incentives to guide the activity of agents towards economic development.
